I think I'm starting to get tired of travelling or I've been spoiled by having such amazing tours before but I was a little disappointed by my sailing trip.
The crew was questionable, boat well worn and weather cold and windy. Food wasn't very good, mostly prepared salads from grocery store. Most of us got bed bug bites. But besides that it was a blast! Made some great friends with the others, snorkelling was fun, nothing like diving but saw great corels, beautiful fish and others saw a shark but I missed it, and although the times we did put up the sails we almost tipped over from the gusts, that's what made it fun. If the weather would have been nice it would have been so relaxing just to lay out on the deck resting, taking the time to take in the clear blue water and pure white beaches. We made a stop on whitehaven beach which was not only beautiful but fasinating, the sand is nearly 100% silica, it made it super white, very soft, extra squeeky to walk on and always cool to the touch.
